E o corpo, veio hoje?

Abstract

O tema desta monografia é o corpo, mais precisamente o corpo do aluno do Ensino Fundamental. Esta pesquisa pretende entender como os professores dos anos iniciais percebem o corpo e suas possibilidades de movimento. Considerando que a concepção científica tradicional é mecanicista, cartesiana, e percebe o mundo partindo de uma diferenciação e repartição entre ambiente e corpo, sujeito e objeto, sentimento e razão, foi necessário partir de uma teoria que considerasse uma unidade entre as esferas. Assim, a visão sistêmica foi utilizada como norteadora deste estudo, já que entende a realidade como uma rede de relações horizontais, intrínsecas e constantemente mutáveis. Na pesquisa, adota-se como referências principais autores como: Antônio Damásio (2011), Helena Katz (1994), Christine Greiner (2012) e Rudolf Laban (1978). O objetivo geral foi possibilitar uma reflexão acerca do entendimento de corpo na escola, visando contribuir para novas possibilidades de ação. Para tal, faz uso de entrevistas semiestruturadas, com duas professoras da rede pública do Estado de São Paulo, que fazem parte do corpo docente de uma Escola Municipal, localizada no município de Guarulhos. A hipótese norteadora se fundamentou no entendimento de que a instituição escolar e as práticas dos docentes acabam por desconsiderar o corpo como unidade dialógica, havendo, assim, uma separação e uma consequente hierarquização, entre o que se é considerado psíquico e os movimentos, considerando o corpo como acessório do processo educativo.

The theme of this monograph is the body, more precisely, the body of the elementary school student. This research intends to understand how is the perception of teachers of the early years about the body and its possibilities of movement. Considering that the traditional scientific conception is mechanistic, Cartesian, and perceives the world starting from a differentiation and distribution between surroundings and body, subject and object, feeling and reason, it was necessary to start from a theory that considered a unity between the spheres, thus a systemic view was used to guide this study, because understands the reality as a horizontal, intrinsic, and constantly changing relationships. The authors adopted in the research are Antônio Damásio (2011), Helena Katz (1994), Christine Greiner (2012) and Rudolf Laban (1978). The general objective was to enable a reflection on the understanding of the body at school, aiming to contribute to new possibilities of action. So, it uses semi-structured interviews with two public school teachers from the State of São Paulo, who are part of the teaching staff of a Municipal School, located in the city of Guarulhos. The guiding hypothesis was based on the understanding that the school institution and the teachers' practices end up disregarding the body as a dialogical unit, thus having a separation, and a consequent hierarchy, between what is considered psychic and the movements, considering the body as an accessory to the educational process.
